A brief description of the policies and/or programs:
The Environmental and Sustainability task force has made the following recommendation to the College: It shall be the policy of the College to require that all Purchase Requisitions for travel include the cost to purchase carbon offset credits for the mileage involved, and any travel of 500 miles or less should be done by car, shared or public transportation which are less carbon intensive forms of transportation than air travel.
