Food Pantry

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
To assist students struggling with food insecurity, Fredonia has opened up a food pantry with two locations on campus where students may pick up food items free of charge. Food pick up may take place at the student health center or in the student activity center. The food pantries are co-sponsored by the Office of Campus Life, Student Health Center and Counseling Center. The food pantry was first opened at the end of the Fall 2016 semester. During the 16-17 academic year, the food pantry gave out over 1500 pieces of food to students in need.
