In 2009 the university created the SUNY Fredonia Academic Community Engagement (FACE) Center to promote campus and community collaboration in the areas of civic engagement, sustainability, service learning, and community-based research. In the area of sustainability, we have created partnerships with approximately 15 local community organizations.
