Does the institution host a food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource focused on alleviating food insecurity, hunger and poverty among students?:
Yes

A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:

The Farmingdale State College Food Pantry is open for its 2nd semester in Fall, 2022. We are thankful for the support provided by Island Harvest and Auxiliary Services Corporation.

The Food Pantry offers healthy food selections to all current Farmingdale State College community members experiencing hunger, and is a judgment-free place for community members in need of assistance. The aid received from the Food Pantry is not a long-term fix but a bi-weekly resource for food insecurity.

If a Farmingdale State College Community member needs more long-term assistance, see the list of local resources below.

All personal information regarding the food recipients will be kept confidential.
