FSC's Associate Dean for Innovation & Economic Development in Sustainable Energy, Marj Issapour, is the Chair for the Electric Long Island "Drive Electric" Coalition. This coalition is formed under the USGB council of Long Island. It promotes the expansion of EV ownership and outreach while working with local leaders on EV initiatives. One of our most prominent community events is the EV Symposium, which is hosted by FSC each fall.
FSC's Associate Dean for Innovation & Economic Development in Sustainable Energy, Marj Issapour, is a sitting member on the Sustainability Taskforce at Molloy College, which is a regional taskforce that pushes for public policy regarding sustainability.
FSC has two members in the Long Island Regional Association for Sustainability in Higher Education (LIRASHE) group. Sustainability managers from campuses come together to focus on sustainability initiatives that involve both internal and external stakeholders.
FSC is a New York State Energy Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) REV Campus Challenge member. This is a resource for sustainability staff from college campuses all across New York State to come together to materialize their sustainability initiatives and efforts.
