Does the institution have an ongoing program that offers incentives for academic staff in multiple disciplines or departments to develop new sustainability courses and/or incorporate sustainability into existing courses? :
Yes

A brief description of the incentive program(s):

The FSC Faculty Center offers numerous training and professional workshops for its faculty, including a DEISJ (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice) Certification Course. This is in response to the SUNY System's new General Education Framework that incorporates knowledge and skills related to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice. This new framework will be required for all first-time/full-time students beginning in the fall of 2023, so faculty must be adequately trained in the specialty area.

A brief description of the incentives that academic staff who participate in the program(s) receive:

Approximately 25 faculty members participated in the fall 2022 course offering. It was in such high demand that the capacity had to be capped. The result of the month long training is that these faculty members will be DEISJ certified instructors, and therefore be able to teach DEISJ designated courses. These classes will be designated as 'D' for DEISJ.
