As a member campus in the 64-campus State University of New York system, there are many opportunities for shared knowledge and progress on sustainability related efforts.
SUNY is adopting its first systemwide Climate and Sustainability Action Plan. This draft is informed by campus-level plans and decade(s) of work by campus sustainability staff, faculty, and students and is the product of collaboration among a Sustainability Advisory Council convened in November 2023. The plan is intended to provide a comprehensive response to the climate crisis from the SUNY system across education, research, facilities, and operations.
