A brief description of on-site renewable electricity generating devices :
We have one smaller system with a much larger Solar Photovoltaic system coming on line in the very near future. The smaller system is a 34 kW capacity solar PV array on the Dragon Hall residence hall.

Geothermal Installation in the Professional Studies Building for heating and cooling-approximately 70,000 Sq. Ft.

SUNY Cortland was the first SUNY Campus to purchase 100% of the electricity needs through Renewable Energy Credits.
