A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
A diversity training workshp is required of all employees. In addition, sexual harassment training and ethics training are available for all faculty and staff.
In addition, the Cultural and Intellectual Climate Committee identifies an annual theme for the campus. Throughout the year many forums, Sandwich Seminars, lectures, workshops,etc. for the entire campus community are discussed dealing with aspects of that theme. This year the theme is "In/Civility."
