Under our Values: Stewardship We believe that stewardship of human, fiscal, physical, and environmental resources is integral to a shared governance model that upholds the mission and vision of the college and values the quality of teaching and learning. We take a dynamic approach to serving our students and community through fiscal responsibility, sustainability, and strategic planning for change and growth. Measures of Success under Sustainability include: LEED certified new construction and campus recycling.

Our Mission: Stark State College provides quality, high value associate degrees, and professional development in a student-centered learning environment. The College is dedicated to individual learning, transferable higher education, and career success. We advance quality of life through accessibility, diversity, and business and community partnerships. Measures of Success under Sustainability include: public engagement through a grant with the Herbert W. Hoover Foundation. Additional Measures of Success include Community Service, Employer Satisfaction (every 3 years), Faculty and Staff profile measures, Professional Development Opportunities, and Student Success - including diversity and accessibility metrics.
