Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
Data is based on the most recent information available, which is from fiscal year 2021. Since this timeframe overlaps the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, some metrics reported may be atypical to Stanford's typical population. For instance, Stanford had zero students enrolled exclusively in distance learning prior to the pandemic.

The number of "Departments" listed for this credit will be higher than the number of departments in the 2019 submission since a more refined department list was able to be obtained from a recent Academic Courses dataset provided by Institutional Research & Decision Support. This more recent dataset including many sub-departments and interdisciplinary programs in its list of "Departments."

The information presented here is self-reported. While AASHE staff review portions of all STARS reports and institutions are welcome to seek additional forms of review, the data in STARS reports are not verified by AASHE.
