To build a broad-based academic community, the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Development and Diversity supports a number of faculty groups, community events, and programs. The Vice Provost co-convenes the University's Diversity Cabinet along with the Vice Provosts for Graduate Education and Undergraduate Education.
