Each year Stanford takes an active role in regional and national sustainability conferences related to higher education. The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) and California Higher Education Sustainability Conference (CHESC) annual events provide opportunities for Stanford interact with other institutions, share best practices, and further develop sustainability in the context of higher education.
