A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome :

The BeWell@Stanford Employee Incentive Program is a multi-dimensional health and wellness web-based program designed to enhance the culture of wellness at Stanford. The program goal is to promote a better understanding of healthy behaviors and help faculty and staff achieve significant improvement in the quality and length of life. The program encourages employees to take action to improve their health and well-being through an interactive website and multitude of health and wellness related services and programs. Employees begin the process by completing the Stanford Health and Lifestyle Assessment (an on-line HRA). Following the assessment employees can engage in the Wellness Profile (health screening and wellness advising session), and BeWell Berries (activities to engage in healthy behaviors) depending on their needs.
