A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:
The University utilizes best management practices to responsibly manager stormwater. For example, the University has created wetlands and swales to provide biofiltration of stormwater prior to discharge into the river. Additionally, the University has installed several areas of semi-permeable pavers or asphalt to decrease runoff and allow for infiltration.

The University deploy strategies to mitigate rainwater runoff impacts that include various types of permeable pavement/pavers, a stormwater retention pond, vegetated swales and weather-informed irrigation. Additionally all relevant personnel receive annual training on Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC) and Stormwater Pollution Prevention.
