A brief description of the program:
The University makes a true effort to purchase from the few businesses around Canton, but selection is limited. Within a twenty mile radius of campus there are several vendors that we use for purchases of plumbing/HVAC and electrical supplies. Within a one hundred mile radius of campus we purchase furniture, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies and a wider selection of electrical supplies. We also use local businesses (contractors) for road, sidewalk, and infrastructure repair and replacement, cleaning dorm rooms, painting, installing flooring, replacing roofs and general building renovations.
