In partnership with the City of Kingston, St. Lawrence College participates in a number of climate initiatives and committees. This ongoing partnership is important for the college to maintain as it provides a direct link to municipal input, planning, and ensures that the needs of the college and its students are represented when it comes to climate action. Our active committee participation includes:

Program includes student mentorship in developing climate-action projects and a pitch competition where top candidates' projects are funded through the Ciy of Kingston and St. Lawrence College.

  • Issues Table Committees (regular meeting, membership includes city staff, community, Chamber of Commerce, Indigenous Partners, local not for profit organizations and other local higher education institutions)
