We have two teaching hair salons and one esthetic spa on our campuses, previously all of the salon and spa waste was sent to landfills. The program allows us to divert up to 95% of salon waste from landfills. Students and staff are responsible for sorting and shipping their hair clipping, hair colour, foils and colour tubes, wax strips, and unused nail polish into the appropriate bins in order to be shipped to Green Circle Salon.
