The Green Team gathers students together to speak about sustainability, host documentary nights and volunteer for projects and initiatives around campus. The group is running out of the Student Association on campus and promotes sustainability on the college app, designated green wall, and through social media platforms.

There is a student run Enactus SLC team which lead projects focused on sustainable, social, and economical opportunities in the community/campus. The students get to present their projects at regional and national competitions in front of a panel of judges made up of business professionals around Canada. The students get titles and duties to develop their team-building and professional skills to then apply in their workplaces. The college has set up "Green Fees" as an additional tuition fees. Each student pays $7.00 per semester ($15 per year). The funds from the Green Fees are invested in sustainable projects. Green Fee Committee, made up of students, student government members and the Sustainability Manager.
