A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
Students that attended orientation participated in a recycling store initiative where they gathered recyclables around the area and put them in the correct bin, if they collected enough recyclables, they were rewarded with a zero-waste prize. This not only got students engaged in sustainability but educated them on what is recyclable and what is not. The students were also provided brochures about recycling and how they can get involved with sustainable initiative around campus.
