A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome :

During the summer of 2011, St. John's purchased a compost tea brewer. The tea is made using compost from The Rocket Food Composer, and is made by student sustainability coordinators. The finished tea is sprayed on the grounds of the Queens campus instead of using purchased fertilizer.
