In the past five years, SSN focusing building and renovation projects on the following key areas:
Academic Facilities: New construction and renovations often include state-of-the-art classrooms, research labs, and technology-integrated lecture halls to support modern engineering education.
Sustainable Design: Projects emphasize energy-efficient materials, renewable energy sources (like solar panels), and sustainable building practices, often targeting green certifications (e.g., LEED).
Infrastructure and Accessibility: Campus upgrades focus on improving accessibility with new pathways, elevators, and transportation links. Expanded facilities, like sports complexes and libraries, enhance the overall campus experience.
Renovation of Older Buildings: Many renovations involve retrofitting older structures with modern amenities, safety upgrades, and smart technology to meet current educational standards.
NATIONAL BUILDING CODE (NBC)
All the buildings are newly built or rennoated following the National Building Code of India (NBC) standard.The standars are followed India as part of design and construction stages.The National building code has a seperate section for sustainability (PART 11).
