A brief description of the incentive program(s):

The Sustainable Advancements Funding Endeavor (S.A.F.E.) is available to both faculty and students who need funding for sustainable initiatives on campus (or off-campus with tangible learning outcomes to be brought back and applied to the University). Roughly $22,500 is available for grants each semester. Faculty may use this grant for resources required to incorporate sustainability into their courses or to attend training programs that will allow them to add sustainability as a learning outcome for their courses.


A brief description of the incentives that academic staff who participate in the program(s) receive:

The primary incentives are funds for research, course development, conference travel and attendance, and sustainable projects on campus.
