A brief description of how the literacy assessment was developed and/or when it was adopted:
Students in the Spring 2021 course "Sustainability Business Practices and Models" were surveyed on their sustainability literacy at the start of the class and at the end of the class.
A brief description of how a representative sample was reached (if applicable) and how the assessment(s) were administered :
The assessment was administered through Google Forms to 26 students enrolled in the course. 25 students completed the pre-assessment and 18 students completed the post-assessment.
A brief summary of results from the literacy assessment(s):
The majority of students coming into the course had little to no exposure to the sustainability topics. After the course, 83-100% of students reported having a strong understanding of the core sustainability topics and felt they could explain them without referencing their notes.
