Yes

A brief description of the facilities for bicycle commuters:

There are bicycle racks outside of every building, dormitory and apartment building. There are public showers and lockers available to all in the Corbet J. Robetson Gym.
Prothro houses our "commuter lounge" which has lockers available.

A brief description of the bicycle parking and storage facilities:

There are bike racks around campus and next to every building.
Racks around academic buildings are small and can hold around 5 bikes.
First Year dorms have a long bike rack that can hold enough for the residents.
Upperclassmen Apartments all come with a small bike rack out front.

Our bicycle share program, Pirate Bikes, provides on campus bicycle use to all community members to commute to buildings, office and athletic complexes on campus. Our town, Georgetown, participates in a bicycle sharing program through the public library and the library and school support one another.

Offers two shuttles every Sunday to the grocery store and to the town shopping center. This program was started by a cohort of students as part of a civic engagement project and is its pilot semester. Currently there are about 10 students/wk who use the program.

A brief description of other sustainable transportation initiatives and programs:

The SU Shuttle program was developed during the Spring of 2014 to enable students to share a University sponsored, eco-friendly van shuttle to local shopping opportunities one afternoon per week from 3-5pm. Two students are employed to operate the Shuttle with one driving and one serving as the co-pilot. The co-pilot is in contact with the riders via cellphone and coordinates the pickup schedule of the riders when they are ready to return to campus.

For the most recent semester (Fall 2014) there were 61 unique riders who accumulated a total of 162 shopping trips (an average of 2.66 trips/student user) during the 14 weeks the program was coordinated. Meanwhile, the average ridership for one afternoon of the SU Shuttle program was 11.5 riders.
