Students for Environmental Activism and Knowledge (SEAK) - active for 10 years, winner of student group leader award, engages in a variety of environmental awareness programs and projects

Garden Club - active for 2 years, winner of student group leader award, keeps campus gardening and composting going, reaches out to community with gardening programs

In 2012 spring semester the university's Brown Symposium was "Back to the Foodture: Sustainable Strategies to Reverse a Global Crysis." This symposia addressed sustainable food practices with students as the primary intended audience.
