The gross floor area of building space changed from 1,934,747 to 1,669,709 due to the discovery of an error in reporting. The larger building space was accounting for buildings that the university owns but does not have operational control over (i.e. apartments and other rentals) and that are not included in the institutional boundary. The gross floor area being reported this year includes all academic and administrative buildings that the university has operational control over and has utility information for.
