Part 1. Student commute modal split
Total percentage of students that use more sustainable commuting options as their primary mode of transportation:
A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
University College students were surveyed through Qualtrics in 2024. Of the 397 who responded, 212 responded that they either walk, bike, take public transit, carpool, or drive an electric vehicle as their primary mode of transportation.
There was a raffle offering 10 gift cards for participants to encourage responses.

University College Faculty and Staff were surveyed through Peakon, our employee survey in 2024.
Roughly 37.5 of respondents said they used a sustainable option as their primary mode of transportation.
