A brief description of the institution’s third party certified land holdings:
The Southern New Hampshire University Arboretum is situated on the school’s campus just outside of Manchester, New Hampshire — northern New England’s largest city. The Arboretum encompasses over 24 acres of environmentally fragile wetland ecosystems and some of the last remaining native forestland near central Manchester. As a living classroom, the Arboretum aims to inspire and develop citizens and leaders dedicated to understanding, appreciating, and sustaining our environment. Showcasing native New Hampshire ecology, the Arboretum facilitates education and environmental awareness for the community as a whole.
Since 1932, SNHU has been relentlessly reinventing higher education and has gained national recognition for the school’s dedication to helping students transform their lives and the lives of those around them. The Arboretum is an integral part of the school’s 300-acre campus, which is home to over 3,000 students seeking an innovative education in a beautiful New England setting.
