A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:
SNHU has numerous bio-retention ponds, 2 rain gardens with signage (one by side of Green Space and one on right side of Green Center), along with a vegetated rooftop outside the Library Learning Commons. There is a vegetated rooftop to be constructed on the new College of Engineering, Technology, and Aeronautics (CETA) building which is in the process of finalizing construction. The bio-retention locations are listed in the SNHU stormwater inspection and maintenance plan.

SNHU Rainwater management guidelines are reviewed on a case by case basis but overall follow the recommended guidelines established in the 2017 Contractor Safety Program.
