A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
SNHU's Facilities department has purchased 3 GEM by Polaris all-electric vehicles in place of Ford Transit Connects for the upcoming year. Once these vehicles have been running for a year, the department will reevaluate the fleet and their needs. Facilities have also started to make their fleet more fuel efficient by eliminating a number of Ford heavy-duty vehicles (over 10,000 GVW) and purchasing F-250 plow trucks.
