"SNHU has an Instagram account that was developed to highlight sustainability projects, champions, and updates at the SNHU. This was a student-developed project that stemmed from a class in the School of Business.

Dr. Sophia Koustas and student Nejra Fazlic led an Organization Leadership class which focused heavily on Sustainability in the Spring of 2019. Students created three separate projects to develop and implement before the semester ended. The SNHU Sustainability Instagram was established and implemented through one of those three projects."

The Dining Hall on campus has posters that display information regarding sustainable food systems. For example, information on the posters may contain information on where the Dining Hall food comes from or how much water is used in the making of a cheeseburger.

In 2018 a Resident Assistant living in the dorms at SNHU launched a program to create less waste during events within the Residence Halls. Purchasing reusable and shareable dishware for the residents and educating them on the importance of sustainability.
