A brief description of the program, including an indication of its scope (e.g., the number of bicycles the program makes available, participation levels, etc.):
The mission of the bike share program is to encourage a culture shift in SIUE students, faculty, and staff toward increased reliance on non-carbon modes of transportation. This program will provide those who do not own bicycles with the opportunity to explore the SIUE campus and see how advantageous a bike can be while rediscovering the fun of bike-riding.
SAG has purchased thirty American-made Worksman bicycles for its fleet. These are durable, reliable, and safe bikes with a proven track record in the bike share industry.
All currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff are eligible to check out a bike.
