Campus shuttle/ public transportation values vary as there is no definite way for measuring. However, SIU Public Transportation has been used 354,819 times by students for fiscal year 2019.

"Commute with only the driver in the vehicle" are the number of registered faculty/staff parking decals.
"Walk, bicycle, or use other non-motorized means" are estimated by using the registered bicycle decals issued with the Parking Division.
