A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :
The Sustainability Office hosts Recycling & Energy Saving Custodial Training where all Plant and Service Operations Building Service Workers custodial staff are given recycling training as well as briefing about energy-saving practices. In addition, housing and dining-hall student workers and full-time employees are given a presentation regarding recycling and composting food waste. Sustainability Office team members are available year round to visit any campus team, class, or department to offer sustainability training to meet the needs of the group. The Office of Diversity and Equity also provides training to all students, faculty and staff regarding discrimination and gender-based violence.
