The Center for Inclusive Excellence at SIU Carbondale serves and supports all students. The Center houses the Black Resource Center, the Hispanic Resource Center and the LGBTQ Resource Center. The Center also offers programming related to Heritage and History Months.

The Office of the Associate Chancellor for Institutional Diversity oversee the Underrepresented Tenure Track Faculty Program which supports new minority faculty by providing guidance and assistance in navigating the process of securing tenure and earning promotion.

The Office of Diversity and Equity supports diversity among employees by providing consultation and training on cultural competency and inclusive excellence to assist staff in their ability to understand the value of difference and using it to set and reach our highest goals by working productively with all people.
