A brief description of the program:

In order to gather small business utilization data, the Identification of Small Business Solicitation document is being incorporated within each bid solicitation, as well as, within all W-9 requests. Southern Illinois University is in the process of updating the Supply/Vendor database with Small Business Certification information derived from the Illinois Department of Central Management Services Small Business Vendors Directory. The University hosted a Vendor Opportunity Fair to promote participation of potential vendors by understanding the University’s procurement process.
