A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
All international students at South Seattle go through an orientation that spans a couple days. A couple years ago, the Office of Sustainability created and implemented a 30-minute presentation. The District Sustainability Coordinator presents to the new international students every quarter (this practice has been temporarily put on hold due to remote operations during COVID). During AY 19-20, 144 students participated in international student orientation. Student headcount was 15,104.
