A brief description of the incentive program(s):
South Seattle College Foundation grants are now designated for creating anti-racist curricula focused on equity, diversity and inclusion (a.k.a., Equity and Excellence in Education grants). For example, faculty can apply for these grants to create open education courses with this focus in mind.”
Positive outcomes during the previous three years include:
a. Anti-racist work is now the center of our Guided Pathways work.
b. South has ongoing anti-racist workshops offered by faculty.
c. South continues to hire faculty who has backgrounds in social justice work.
