A brief description of the assessment(s):
One assessment is done as part of the Campus Climate Survey. Questions about student and staff experience with diversity issues are included in this yearly assessment.
An additional assessment was a professional development assessment done in conjunction with the Equity and Education Through Research staff.
The Intercultural Development Inventory on campus for faculty and staff also provides a mechanism for feedback on diversity issues.

A brief description of how the results of the assessment(s) are used in shaping policy, programs, and initiatives:
The PEER survey helped support programming and repeat programming by showing a necessity for increased funding for professional development for faculty and staff in sharing multicultural voices.
The Campus Climate Survey responses are complied in a report and given to the President's cabinet and committee for institutional effectiveness to discuss as part of yearly review process.
