A brief description of the trans-fats avoidance program, policy, or practice:
Both the catering food service and the cafeteria use primarily canola oil when using cooking oils. Olive oil is used occasionally for marinades and sauces. Cafeteria director Bob Glatt believes some pre-packaged backed goods may contain trans fats but these are a vast minority of the food served.
