A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:

the Office of Research and Sponsored programs tracks all research funded through their office, the Center for Environmental Inquiry tracks all research requests and progress/completion of these projects and the department of Geography, Environment and Planning (GEP) provided their current and recently completed research projects. These three were cross referenced and any duplicates were deleted.
