A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:
Sustainability is not focused on during the initial orientation over the summer prior to entering the campus, though information about sustainability is displayed on posters and given to those who ask at the Student Recreation Center. However after arriving to SSU for the first week of school, the second part of their orientation, they are talked to by their Community Services Advisor, given informational pan flits and sustainable paraphernalia like shower timers, while being integrated into the campus residential community. This way even transfer students are exposed to our efforts for sustainability.
