Policy is still on formation. In 2015 University policy began to mandate that Masters Thesis be stores in our ScholarWorks database. Our Library's informal policy that only research available to all are included. SSU had begun developing its ScholarWorks collection in 2010.

A brief description of how the institution’s library(ies) support open access to research:
Working through SSU ScholarWorks, Librarian Lynn Prime both solicits faculty submissions and then works through the copyright clearance process. The archived research is then made available through the web links provided here. Efforts are made by the library faculty and staff to familiarize students with this resources and assist them in accessing the archive.
