The University seeks a healthy and safe environment for all members of the University community and for visitors. Every community member is obligated to perform his or her job in a safe manner and to follow all safety rules and procedures. Community members should immediately report any hazardous conditions or job-related illness or injury to their supervisors. We make every effort to provide you with safe working conditions. We observe all applicable safety laws and no one will knowingly be required to work in an unsafe manner. Safety is every employee’s responsibility. Therefore, we request that you do everything reasonable and necessary to keep SUA a safe place to work. All employees are asked to report any unsafe condition to their immediate supervisor and/or the Director of Environmental Health and Safety. Please be aware of potential fire hazards, unsafe equipment operation, spills, lack of safety equipment, or other unsafe procedures or hazardous conditions.
