A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
To mitigate fleet impacts, the college has introduced a Honda Civic hybrid and Toyota Prius into the fleet and replaced a number of larger vans with smaller Toyota vans that yield higher gas mileage. We also use two electric golf carts and our Botanic Garden recently purchased and electric lawnmower.
