Smith College is a member of Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA), and a principle sponsor of the organization. As a member of CISA, Smith helps promote the importance of supporting our local farms and buying local. Smith also purchases products from CISA member farms, and is committed to increasing purchases from local farms. In September 2016 Smith College Dining Services catered CISA's Taste the View fundraising event.
