SRU has been featured in the AASHE Bulletin a number of times for Sustainability Programs and awards, such as the LEED Silver certification for the residence halls and installing water bottle refill stations on campus.

As a member of AASHE/STARS/ACUPCC, SRU makes public a number of publications regarding sustainability including: ghg inventories, progress reports, climate action plan, best practices, etc.
