Does the institution offer housing options to accomodate the special needs of transgender and transitioning students (either as a matter of policy or as standard practice)?:
Yes
None
A brief description of the program, policy, or practice:
All students are assigned housing based on their individual needs. The housing office meets individually with students who identify as transgender or transitioning and work with them to provide appropriate housing. The number one thing that comes up with transgender, or transitioning students is restroom facilities. Rooms with private baths are available on the floor sections, so such students can have the privacy they need, and still be part of the residence hall community.
