SFU's 2014 STARS researchers list was used as a launching point to begin creating the 2018 list for submission. All research faculty members at SFU have their research interest published on perspective departmental/ faculty websites. A preliminary list was created by the Sustainability Office based on this information as well as data gathered in 2014 which was then approved by designated faculty representatives from each department/faculty.
